Based in and around Manchester, we are a small collection of creatives with a passion for typography, lettering and graphic design. We help our clients to tell their own unique story in both print and digital media, with a focus on simple, clear ideas and attention to detail.

Our  flexible business model, without the overheads of a city centre office, means our clients only pay for the people that their project needs and you will have direct contact with a designer throughout the project. Whether you require a small advert or a complete brand identity revamp; or conference materials that work across print and digital media; our nimble, value-for-money and experienced team can help you to communicate your message and create a positive, professional impression. Our work within the learning disability sector has also given us insight into the importance of accessible communication and design for different and diverse audiences.

To understand an organisation, you have to walk in their shoes for a while. We feel that our best work is for those clients that we have developed long-standing and trusted relationships with. So try us out for size. Get in touch for an informal chat about your project and what you need.  As the Chinese philosopher  Lao-Tzu is often quoted, ‘A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step…’.

Our particular strengths include:

  • Great customer service
(you always talk directly to a designer)
  • Great quality work
(with a focus on simplicity, clarity and purpose)
  • Industry knowledge
(particularly in the health, education and creative sectors)
  • Fast turnaround times
(our flexible structure means that we are more nimble and faster than most 9–5 agencies)
  • Cost (we are lean).
We have few overheads and only employ the skills that are required for a particular project.
  • Accessibility (it’s important!)
We have experience of making websites and PDF documents compliant with Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG), as well as Easy-Read books and posters.
